\nSlovenia was the guest of honour at the 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair. In 2026, Germany will be the focus of the 42nd Slovenian Book Fair. But how does a Slovenian poet and translator from German go about her work? Why poetry, of all things? Is poetry difficult \u2013 or does language here simply resonate in \u2018a rhythm you have to go along with\u2019? How is a poem created? A \u2018bird\u2019 or \u2018pigeon\u2019 text? And how does one adapt literature into another language?
\nA feature on the internationally successful author, translator, bookseller and publisher Anja Zag Golob: following conversations and research at the \u2018Mariborka\u2019 bookshop in Maribor, covering poetry, children\u2019s and young adult literature, comics and graphic novels, international collaborations, awards and everyday life.
