Walking the “Walk of Peace” – cross-border Slovenian-Italian cooperation and far beyond.<\/div>\n
Ma\u0161a Klavora, Slovenian director, and a representative of the \u2018Walk of Peace\u2019 team in an interview with \u2018Jugend schreibt\u2019. The interview takes place on the border between the two countries, in the binational European Capital of Culture Gorizia\/Nova Gorica.<\/div>\n
The “Walk of Peace” project, along the battlefields of the First World War in So\u010da\/Isonzo, has been internationally recognised since its inception; other cross-border regions in Western and Eastern Europe have followed the initiative.\u00a0The project is dedicated to preserving historically significant places, facts and figures, but above all to taking steps to promote international dialogue in the present and future: authentic places of learning about yesterday, for today and tomorrow. German and Austrian organisations and youth groups were and are also involved.<\/div>\n
The interview was conducted by student journalist Ma\u0161a Me\u017enar as part of the project with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung\/FAZ, under the patronage of ZRS Koper, Coordination\/Photos: INSTITUT DISCIMUS LAB.<\/div>\n
