„The Diary of Anne Frank“ – on stage at the Peter Simoniti Theatre in Celje:
Why is an amateur theatre company staging this world-famous document right now? How has the text been adapted for the production? How is it being staged? What are the main focuses? What audience does the production appeal to?
A talk with Ana Marija Milanovič (83) and Lovro Tacol (35), author and co-author of the script, on 15.12.2025, in Celje. The premiere of the play will take place on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, 27 January 2026. The interview series will then continue at the exhibition ‘Renia Spiegel – The Polish Anne Frank’, organised in collaboration with the Polish Embassy in Ljubljana and the Maribor Synagogue at OŠ Starše/Maribor.
