“Slovenian Airline ´Prevc Wings´“ –
On 12.10.2026 in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung/FAZ: about Peter Prevc. Following research and an interview at the ski jumping stadium in Kranj, where his career as one of the most successful ski jumpers in history began. About his first jumps and record-breaking flights in Planica, training and nutrition methods, successes and setbacks; about the Prevc family, from which siblings Cene, Domen and Nika also jumped their way to world championship titles and gold medals; about what happens when a top-level athlete suddenly ‘retires from ski flying’, whether the next generation of Prevc’s would also like to learn to fly; and what the future of ski flying might look like in the face of climate change.
A Reportage as part of „Jugend schreibt“ (Youth writes) with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung/FAZ; by Zoja Klara Hrup, Anja Oblak and Lucian Lovrenčič from Celje.
