Award ceremony for the 5th Slovenian National Robotics Championship in German (CLILiG Robotics) at Narodni Dom, Celje; Topic: ‘Artificial intelligence/AI – chances, challenges, risks – examples from our perspective’.
The award ceremony began with the European anthem, sung in Slovenian and German. David Preložnik and Neža Slapšak provided the musical accompaniment. City Director Gregor Deleja welcomes the successful primary and secondary school teams on behalf of the host, Municipality of Celje . Louis M., Head of the Cultural Department, and Eva Grešak speak on behalf of the German Embassy in Ljubljana. Brigita Kacjan speaks on behalf of the project’s patron, the SDUNJ. Gerald Hühner erläutert für das organisierende INSTITUT DISCIMUS LAB Zielrichtung, Aktualität und Perspektiven des CLIL-Robotik-Projekts. Etjan Kiralj explains the scoring system on behalf of the robotics jury and gives tips for further work with educational robots.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all supporters of the project, Goethe-Institut Ljubljana, Mladinska knjiga and Hueber Verlag, for their generous prizes. This year, special thanks also go to Tehno park Celje, which provided tickets for a free day out for the 12 winning pupils from OŠ Ljudski vrt/Ptuj and the Ptuj School Centre.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participating school teams and their mentors for their dedicated work and congratulate them on the products they submitted! We look forward to welcoming the top three winners in both the primary and secondary school categories to the 2nd International CLILiG Robotics Championship, which will be held in Zaprešić on 23 April 2026.
